How to Count Your Window Panes
Please send us photos of the exterior of your home to help us assess the number of windows you'd like us to clean, as our pricing is based on a per-pane basis. Please count each individual pane of glass, keeping in mind that standard opening windows often have two or more panes. For windows with panes exceeding 9 square feet of glass or those requiring over a 24-foot ladder for access, please inform us as this may affect the pricing. If you need both exterior and interior cleaning, please specify. Additionally, if there are any specific details we should be aware of, such as tricky access points, kindly let us know.
Counting Railing Glass
For railing glass, we count per pane. Each side of a pane is counted as one. If you'd like both sides cleaned, we will multiply how many panes of glass you have by 2.
Counting Window Tracks
Each track under its own pane is one; if the window is a slider (usually moving side to side), it generally has two tracks. If the window is a single slider (usually moving up and down), it has one track.
Measuring Gutters
Whether we are clearing the gutters or cleaning the outside surface, we price per linear foot. A rough measure is fine as the crew that completes the work will complete an accurate measurement on-site. It is very important to let us know if any of your gutters are above 2 stories from the ground.
Roof Cleaning
Roof cleaning including debris cleanup (Firesmarting) and/or moss treatments are charged by square footage and degree of buildup. Please either send us approximate measurements and slope of your roof, or even better, send us photos so we can determine the material, pitch, and approximate size of your roof. This also helps us as we can see how extensive the buildup is. Of course, we understand that it might not be possible to see on top of the roof but any photos are helpful so we ensure the right equipment is on hand for the job.
Power Washing
Note: We call it power washing rather than pressure washing as while they use the same main piece of equipment, the methods and strategies are different. It should be the volume of water and prescribed treatments that perform the cleaning rather than the pressure.
Power washing is charged by square footage, the surface type and the treatments required. Please send us the approximate measurements of the area to be cleaned, photos, and any other information you think might be relevant. We need to be able to determine the size and material and it is helpful for us to have a visual of the surface beforehand.
Siding Cleaning
We price siding cleaning by the square footage of the home X how many stories. If your home is a half basement where half the house is built into the hill, then it's likely 1.5 stories.
